Lu Pin
Chinese, was born in Shanghai and has lived in Poland since 1996. She is a graduate of the Shanghai Publishing and Printing College and the Faculty of Sculpture at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. In the year 2002, she was awarded a graduate Honours diploma. For a period of two years Lu Pin was a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Sculpture at the Institute of Art Education of the Swietokrzyska Academy in Kielce. Lu Pin is the author of the monument of Fryderyk Chopin in Shanghai and Beijing. She has been awarded a scholarship in the programme for the support
of artists initiated by the Head of the Local Government of the Pomeranian Province. In the year 2007 she was honoured with the "Gloria Artis" culture meritorious medal awarded by the Minister
of Culture of the Republic of Poland. In the 2008 Lu Pin was awarded a diploma for outstanding services for the promotion
of Poland in the world by the Minister of Foreign Affair of the Republic of Poland.
